The Birth of Venus

The original is a tempera painting on canvas, cm 173 x 279, and was painted around 1485. It shows Venus among the waves, driven from Zefiro to the sea shore,
where one of the Hours (Goddesses) is handing her a robe. It is now preserved in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.
